You have correctly installed the Google Analytics tracking code and you can see visitors at the real time tracking yet Google
Analytics complains that the tracking code is not installed.
From my experience this happens when there is no robots.txt for your file and your web host serves a 404 from his own domain.When that happens Google analytics presumes there is a problem with your website and until you upload a working robots.txt file will not verify the installation of the tracking code.
So the only fix for this problem is to upload a working robots.txt file and wait until Google tries again to download the robots.txt file. This may take up to 4 hours.
